Privacy notice

Vow & Vachan is a private introduction service. Families trust us with personal details, so we keep this simple: we collect only what we need to make introductions, we never publish it, and we never sell it.

What we collect

• When you send an enquiry: your name, WhatsApp number, city, whether you are looking for a bride or a groom, and how you heard of us.
• When you visit the website: the pages you view, the website or link that brought you here, the approximate city and country your connection comes from, and your browser type. We do not store your IP address.
• Later, if you become a member: the profile details, biodata and photographs you choose to share. These are covered by a separate member notice.

Why we collect it

To contact you about your enquiry, to understand how families find us, and to keep the service secure. We do not use your details for advertising.

Cookies

We set two small first-party cookies: one that recognises a returning browser (so repeat visits are not counted twice), and one that remembers which private invitation link you arrived from. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Who can see your details

Only Pooja and her team. Your details are stored with our hosting and database providers, who process them on our behalf and may store them outside India. Nothing is shared with other families without your consent.

How long we keep them

Enquiry details are kept while we are in touch with your family, and deleted on request or when they are no longer needed. Website visit records are kept for up to 12 months.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw your consent, at any time: message Pooja’s team on WhatsApp. We will respond promptly.
